The Process

Here's exactly
what happens.

Five steps. No guesswork. You'll know what's coming before it does — and what we expect from each other along the way.

From This 2 That

You'll Know Before You Have to Ask.

Progress updates through your client portal. No chasing us down for status.

No Surprise Invoices.

Scope changes are discussed and approved before they affect your cost. In writing.

We Show Up.

On the date we committed to. Every day until the job is done.

01

See It Before You Commit.

5 minutes

Use the AI Visualizer to upload a photo of your space and see what it could look like before you spend anything. Then submit your estimate request with project details, a few photos, and your timeline. We review every submission before we reach out — so the first conversation is already productive.

  • Try the AI Visualizer first — free, no account required
  • Describe the project in plain terms, no specs needed
  • Upload photos of the space (more context = better quote)
  • Share your timeline and any hard constraints

Free estimate. No commitment. We review scope before reaching out.

02

Get a Written Quote.

1–3 business days

We schedule a walkthrough — in person for local projects, video for remote scoping. We ask the right questions, confirm scope, and deliver a written quote with a line-item breakdown. No vague ranges, no hidden costs, no pressure to sign on the spot.

  • On-site or video walkthrough to confirm scope accurately
  • We ask about priorities, constraints, and finish preferences
  • Written quote with line-item breakdown within 1–3 days
  • Quote includes timeline, payment structure, and scope limits

We don't quote jobs we can't execute well. If it's not a fit, we'll say so.

03

Lock In Your Start Date.

Same day

Approve the quote, sign the project agreement, and put down the initial deposit. Your start date is confirmed in writing. We don't overbook — when we commit to a date, we hold it.

  • Review and sign the project agreement
  • Initial deposit secures your spot on the schedule
  • Start date confirmed in writing
  • Pre-work checklist sent so you know how to prepare

No ambiguity about when work begins. It's in writing.

04

We Build It.

Project duration

We show up when we said we would, keep the job site clean, and communicate proactively — not reactively. You'll know what's happening and when. If anything changes, we tell you before it affects your timeline or budget.

  • Crew on schedule, every day
  • Job site clean throughout — not just at the end
  • Progress updates via your client portal
  • Scope changes discussed and approved before proceeding

Surprises happen in construction. How we handle them is the difference.

05

Walk It With Us.

1–2 hours

We do a final walkthrough together before we call it done. Every punch list item is addressed. Final payment is collected only after you're satisfied. We don't disappear after the last day of work.

  • Structured walkthrough of all completed work
  • Punch list items resolved before final payment
  • Final invoice and payment processed
  • Warranty and care instructions provided

We stand behind what we build. One year workmanship warranty, standard.

FAQ

Common questions.

How long does the estimate process take?

We respond to estimate requests within 1 business day. After the walkthrough, you'll have a written quote within 1–3 business days depending on project complexity.

Do I need to be home during the work?

Not necessarily. Many clients provide access and check in via their client portal for updates. We'll discuss access logistics during the scheduling step.

What if scope changes mid-project?

It happens. We'll identify the change, explain the impact on timeline and cost, and get your written approval before proceeding. No surprises on the final invoice.

What's included in the warranty?

All workmanship is warranted for 1 year from project completion. Material warranties vary by manufacturer and will be documented in your project agreement.

Do you handle permits?

Yes, for projects that require permits. We'll identify permit requirements during scoping and coordinate the process. Permit fees are included in the quote.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept ACH bank transfer, credit card, and check. Payment structure (deposit, progress, final) is outlined in the project agreement.

Step one is free. Step one takes five minutes.

Tell us what you're working on. We'll review it, reach out within one business day, and give you a clear picture of what the project looks like — before any commitment.
